Love the cover! I've read a few historical fiction novels centering around the evacuation of children from the UK (Operation Pied Piper.) And this novel has the same heartfelt vibe. The novel really got to me in that the author captures the angst of not only the children but the parents as well. I can't wait to read what happens to Beatrix as well as her family and the family that took her in.
