I was a bit shocked that there were already so many working parts right away, but after finishing the brief snippet, I think that was a good choice. I like how there are so many perspectives, and the chapters are short, and the writing style is so exquisitely raw. The prologue leaves a bit of mystique that keeps you continuing, and every single chapter just makes me want to read more. The cover is beautiful, it makes me imagine a new beginning after a sad end.
