I like books with different viewpoints and this one is extra special. The author has written each narrator so well that I think I know them. The description of the setting, from the island, the ocean and the sky above, to the Gregory's home were really well done and I could see myself in each place.
The cover is intriguing too. Is the girl looking toward her home in the UK or to America, where she spent the war years and seemed so happy? This first look really struck me with all the feels.
