I was looking for a new book to get this week so when I saw the first impression except still up I thought why not? Now I'm thinking, is this out yet, when do I get it! I'm hooked. I love how in just the short except we already know there are 3 (possibly 4) mysteries to be solved - why does Eva's mother seem to disapprove of her; what happened to Laura; how did Eva get struck by lightning and who killed Eva's mother! In just 43 pages. The writing is just detailed enough to know you've got a mystery, but only that and nothing more. I love that. It's extremely hard to guess any twists when all you know is someone's dead, something (I think) happened to Laura, and somehow Eva got struck by lightning with zero details of how that could have happened! The suspense is killing me, I can not wait to get this book!!
