I’ve never read anything like this and I wanted to keep on reading!! The paranoia Eva must be feeling and the fact that no one believes her would drive me crazy too. I also liked that in the beginning we could experience what she was going through with the lightening and the blood everywhere and then it switched to right before at dinner with her mom and Lily and then right after at the hospital, but it was so distorted that we couldn’t decipher the truth.
Another nice twist was in chapter six the perspective changed to Kat, the mother, and we could catch a glimpse of her life in London. It also gave us a lot unanswered questions, how does Rose play into things? Is she a suspect? Where is Laura now? Are Eva and Laura still in touch? Does Eva even remember Rose and Laura? So many questions! I can’t wait to ready the rest of the book and discover the truth and hopefully clear Eva’s name or solidify her guilt…
