Behind Every Lie was on my TBR pile from the library for a while. The synopsis seemed so unrealistic to me.. a girl is struck by lightning, her mom is found dead, and then she goes to London to figure it all out? Thankfully, I put these thoughts behind me and picked this book up on a rainy quarantine day... and never put it down. The author does a great job of introducing many different elements - a lightning strike, a murder. I really enjoyed the flashbacks chapters that told the story of Eva's "mom" and how she ended up in the US. I was not expecting that the ending would go exactly as it did, but had some ideas throughout that the fiance was involved. A quick thriller that will keep you reading!
