Eva gets struck by lightning and awakens to discover her mother is dead. Was it her or someone else who did it? Eva has no idea because she has no recollection of that night. She has a tendency to forget terrible things. She does incomprehensible things throughout the book and has no recollection of doing them? Is she actually losing her mind?Behind Every Lie was a fantastic read for me; it had everything I was looking for and more. There were so many characters that you didn't know who was telling the truth until the very end. Whiplash between some of these individuals made me feel like I couldn't turn the pages fast enough, with one of these characters appearing to be far shadier than the rest. If you haven't already done so,This novel was well-written, thrilling, and kept me turning the pages! It was difficult to put down, though I did manage to resist reading it all in one night this time. I put some aside for the following day!
