The beginning of Behind Every Lie lets you know that bad things are coming, but you are introduced to the characters and you don't know who the bad things are coming for or why. This was similar to Christina McDonald's The Night Olivia Fell, and my guess is this book will have the same feel... a family drama/thriller that brings you to tears and a gripping conclusion!
