That was not what I expected to happen at the end of the book! Wow! So this book is about a married couple, Maddie and Ian, and Maddie's old friend Jo. Maddie and Ian are married, and have a little boy Charlie. At first I didn't connect with Ian's character, but as they explained more about his PTSD I felt for him. Maddie I connected with right away, and Jo I never connected with.
This warped and twisted book definitely caught and kept my attention though. They flash back to when Maddie just meet Ian, and the history that the three of them have together overseas. Also to before the accident happened and what caused the blood and 911 Maddie made. With more then one POV, it was still easy to follow. It definitely makes more a surprise ending then expected.
