This story didn't quite deliver the thriller I was hoping for. It has all the elements a thriller needs, but the execution was a bit off the mark.
While I am normally a fan of multiple POVs, this didn't work for me in this one. I kept getting lost and the voices weren't different enough to stand out so I would have to go back and reread passages when I realized I was in a different characters voice. This made the story drag and I lost the intensity of several key moments.
I did like the ending though. It wasn't something I saw coming and I think the author did a great job skirting around the ending throughout the story. Looking back I can definitely see where she was going, but during it totally flew right past me.
This for me wasn't a huge hit, but I appreciated where the author wanted to take her readers.
