The cover didn't immediately pull me in or scream "thriller" to me, but the blurb that said "The book that's already being called 2019's Thriller of the Year" did! I loved the first section of the preview- it grabbed me and made me want to know what events led up to the police being called. Then the story jumps back in time to 10 weeks before and I was interested to see where it went. But then it jumped back in time further...and lost me a bit. Too many jumps in time in too short of a section. But, I'd give it a chance to see where it goes!
