I don't know why I waited so long to read this book. I'm the type of person who imagines books as movies playing in my head while I'm reading, but this one took it to a whole new level. I cannot wait to see this book made into a film (please it be soon!)
This book had everything from action to romance to colorful dialogue and superb characters. You can tell a whole lot of research went into this book and it paid off. The setting and the folklore were a huge plus for me. I know some people had issues with the POVs, but I didn't mind it at all.
The only thing I had a slight issue with was the setup at the beginning. I found it a bit slow. Once it picked up, it really picked up.
I'm glad books like this exist for people who need them and for people who are just looking for a fantastic fantasy to get lost in. I had the best time reading this book and look forward to diving into the sequel.
