The intro was a fantastic hook! I was immediately drawn in to the allure and mystique of the world's magic, and I wanted to know more about what happened to Adiah. The next two characters, Koffi and Ekon, were interesting and relatable, and I'm looking forward to seeing how they team up together. The book cover and world building was great - a mysterious forest, exotic animals, and long-lost magic, what's not to love?
