I loved how in-depth the Worldbuilding is. It's absolutely wonderful. The first chapter was so interesting especially about the talk of The Jungle being dangerous, as well as magic.
I, also, enjoyed the different point of views. It kind of gives the reader a chance for variety. I still want to know about Ekon and why the voice is calling to him. Koffi and her mother are interesting characters as well. Like beast keepers, is a unique concept. The last chapter in the first look left me wanting to know more about Koffi and her mother.
