First off...the cover art is amazing!!! That's what initially caught my eye. I love books with some magic and it looks like this book will not disappoint. Koffi find that she has magic at age 16 and doesn't quite understand them. She also saves the life of Ekon from from a beast and form an alliance. I am curious to see how Koffi manages her power and if Ekon can be become a warrior and whether they will catch the beast or be caught!
