I really enjoyed reading this book. I was barely able to take it down. This book is very similar to The Outsiders in the way that both involve two kids who accidentally murder someone. This book is a great blend of many themes including murder, forbidden love, and growing up. When a young girl from the wrong side of town and a girl from the right side are forced to come together after committing a crime, neither of them will be able to guess what will happen next. I truly enjoyed reading this book. I also loved The Outsiders, therefore it was not surprising that I would like this. I think the author did a fantastic job of giving each character their own story. In many books that involve so many different pieces, some of the characters can seem dull and lack personality, but this is definitely not the case. Between the fascinating characters and the plot of the book, it is definitely one that I would recommend to my friends.
