Making comparisons to beloved books usually turns me off - why mess with a good thing? Yet for a new generation of readers, this novel may hit the mark. I adored The Outsiders as a teenager, and this book promises to become a YA favorite as well. It doesn’t interest me, but I’m sure I’m not the target audience!
