After reading the First Impression, I didn't know where the story is going or what it's about. I had to go back to read the book's blurb, which meant the beginning of the book didn't capture my attention or lead us to the action. I would have liked to be pulled in from the beginning but the end of the First Impression did leave us at a cliffhanger. The cover of the book is okay, reminds me of a TV show character and not really Evie's vibe.
