When reading this book, the writing style really adds quite a bit to the reading experience. For fans of true crime such as myself, this story is a really captivating one where the reader will be on edge for the entirety of the story. The writing style, which is truly what drew me to the book in the first place, makes this read a really accessible one as it is really easy to follow/understand and it feels like a hybrid between reading some sort of newspaper article or some sort of crime/mystery novel. By doing so, the author has made the story just that much more interesting and has heightened the experience for his readers. If this story was written differently, I am not completely sure whether I would have enjoyed it as much or I would have been as interested in the actual crime, especially because it is a true story, just written like a novel.
