Intriguing

Ask my friends, and you'll know that I'm not the biggest fan of non-fiction. I initially picked up this book because I've recently taken an interest in corruption (especially because I'm a law student). So the synopsis definitely drew me in.

But first, the cover. The cover was decent enough to incite me to pick it up, but it's not normally the style that I favor. I did think that the title was intriguing.

Onto the actual book itself. I did think the topic was very interesting. It definitely made me imagine a crime television episode. But the author did a great job of clearly describing all of the relevant characters. It was done very well, such that I could readily imagine all of the actual events occurring (which I suppose they did because it's a non-fiction book).

Overall, I think it was a worthwhile read. Still not the biggest fan of non-fiction, but this was a good one.
