This book does a great job of drawing you immediately into a story, something that can be difficult for a work of nonfiction that can easily be dragged down by a recitation of facts. Bad City promises to be one of those "can't look away from the disaster" stories that keeps peeling back layers and layers of intrigue and suspense.
