First of all I want to talk about the cover. It very much freaks me out but in a good way. I do not like scary books but this cover has mystery to it and I find that interesting. I am unsure if the red is blood and why there is an ax. The cover is well crafted. Immediately, I can tell this story is well written. The word choice is easy to understand but still descriptive. There is one perspective throughout the first three chapters but since the characters name is at the top of the chapter, I wonder if the perspective will change. I like the location of the story. It is recognizable but still distant for many people. I imagine it would be fun to read this story if you had been to the areas described.
