Bad Call has potential as far as plot and idea, but even in just the first chapters alone fail to execute the idea in an entertaining way.
The characters are unlikeable and stock quality, teenage boy personalities, and the lack of dimensions make it seriously difficult to care a fig what happens to them.
The dialogue and characters are like a tangled mess of Christmas lights, something that could work but isn't really worth unjumbling only to find that they don't actually work.
I will admit that I don't exactly know the first thing about what teenage boys think and how they talk, but I'm willing to bet that how they are portrayed in Bad Call is hardly any semblance to real life.
Once more, I will say that the idea had potential, but the author seemed to let the idea roll like a snowball down a hill, until at last it crashed and made a huge mess.
