The style of writing made me feel like I was right along with the characters. The conversations are snappy, making the process of reading fast-paced. I enjoyed that. Something funny is weaved in every page or two. While reading the prologue, I didn't think I was going to enjoy it, but how the scene ended with really pulled me in to wanting to figure it out.
I'm not fond of the character being named "Ceo," as my brain reads it as C-E-O every time and I have to pause to rethink how I read the sentence. My brain might eventually get used to this if I were to read the whole book.
These pages have whet my appetite enough to want to know what is going on with this trip the men are leaving on. Thank you for the opportunity to preview this piece!
