This book was really good, although I must admit that the first 3/4 of this book was a little slow. The last 1/4 of this novel was AMAZING!! I wish that I hadn't read it so fast. I literally read the last 150ish pages in one sitting. I was super absorbing and intense. I mean the snow storm, the ax, the guy with vengeance....wow, wow, wow! The ending was pretty shocking too, like I would never have thought it would turn out like that! I will very much look forward to reading more survival thrillers by this author. I hear he is in the process of writing another novel due to be published at the end of the year.
