Never judge a book by its cover - or someone else's brief description of its contents - because you could miss a great story. As I read the few pages offering a peak at this novel, I loved how it flowed. I related immediately because this is how I think and speak, with many asides and digressions, which I believe add to the charm of storytelling. My family is like this family, with the odd but colorful assortment of characters and unexpected events that couldn't be planned. I'm looking forward to the rest of this story.
