This novel has a really interesting concept, and thus a lot of potential. Being compared to "A Man Named Ove" is leaving some pretty big shoes to fill, but I think they can do it.

There are novels that rush to get to the point, that blow past character introductions so they can just to the meat of the story that much faster. Then there are the stories that savor every moment of the introduction, that let you get a full grasp of the characters and who they are before things really get moving. Auntie Poldi is the latter. If that is what you're looking for, then this is the novel for you.
