The beginning paragraph is a great setup for the novel and gives you a lot a questions that will hopefully be answered in the following pages. We don't know who this nephew of Poldi's is and I feel like we may never find out! Because the story is not about him. I feel like it could get a little tedious as the book progresses so I hope there's some excitement. The excerpt ends in a cliffhanger!
