Although this book is supposed to be YA, I throughly enjoyed it and I am 62. Besides being an entertaining story, the tale makes you think! What would happen if I had one wish that I knew would come true? What we wish for and what we get could be polar opposites.
The author does a great job of pulling you into the day to day life of a teenager and the consequences of your decisions. The characters are like people in your town, friends you know, someone you meet on the street. It puts problems into perspective and reminds you that there are different viewpoints that you may not have thought of when it comes to attitude and facing daily life.
I think this would be a great book for all high school students to read. I can imagine instructors would be happy with the discussions and opinions that would follow.
