I like the cover here more than the cover shows on Goodreads (unfortunately I think that is the final one). Anyways, I was excited to read this, but unfortunately I did not really enjoy it. The main character was hard to deal with, which always lowers a book for me. It's really hard to enjoy a book when you don't feel compelled by the main character, and don't even really want to follow him.
There also was some aphobia, which I am used to in books but it's always frustrating to see in books. It's very not necessary and the book would have been a bit better without it, though it's still frustrating with how much I didn't like the main character. It is an interesting concept; I just wish it were better executed.
