Much like a survey, I didn't get tipped either way with this first impression. It was just words to read. It didn't spark an interest to read more, or hate it from the first couple of paragraphs. There seems to be a story here, just not one I am interested in. The writing seems solid for now, but I fear it may turn into short story wishes with an common underground problem to solve. Not for me, but happy to have been given the chance for a first impression.
