This book is fantastic! Go pick it up! Right now. Susan Meissner’s writing is fantastic. I read this whole book in one day. I thought the characters were really well developed. I was interested in the story the entire time. I felt for these characters. I read this at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and really enjoyed reading about the Spanish flu pandemic because it made this pandemic we are in right now seem like it would get better. We follow the Bright family as they move to PA in the middle of the Spanish flu pandemic in 1918. You get the perspective of all 4 women in the family. They move to PA to help the uncle in the book with his funeral home and it is just really a fantastic book! 5 stars! Loved it
