Susan Meissner is one of my favorite authors! She never disappoints! I loved this book as much as The Secrets of a Charmed Life. I loved all of the characters and felt connected to them. Keep your tissues handy! I love the research that Susan Meissen puts into her novels! You don't want to miss this one for sure! This book will keep your interest from beginning to end! It makes you really think about world epidemics and what people went through during those times. The Spanish Flu keeps the family owned funeral home very busy during the Spanish Flu epidemic. So many loved ones lost their lives to this horrible, highly contagious illness! This book is about family, love and loss. I would highly recommend reading this beautifully written novel!
