Reading this summary made me kind of sad, which of course anyone would be with the loss of a child. But I think the story will be about love and loss during a time horrendous with war. I see the storyline going on to a time during the Spanish flu epidemic in Philadelphia. How the family reacts and adapts to the horrors of war, disease and if their hearts can handle what is given to them. I believe that this book will be inspiring!
