Ok so I read the first book in this series last year and I really liked it. This one had my favorite enemies to lovers trope, but there lacked a compelling plot. The leading lady was hard for me to connect with and I didn’t love her. The guy was super pouty and acted like a child for a lot of the book. Both of them grew a lot over the story and I appreciated that, but overall it didn’t help me love the book more. I just felt like they were unwilling to compromise in a lot of ways and I didn’t trust the man would not run away again when things started to get hard for the two of them. I wanted a bit more of a conclusion or look into the logistics of their life after the ending. This book had some really sweet moments between side characters that I loved and the setting of the book was absolutely phenomenal. If you need a beach read, this is definitely an a option.
