This book is heartwarming. I loved it – but specifically, I fell in love with it more each chapter I read. And that’s saying something – considering these were fairly long chapters 😂
A Latinx, second chance romance, this is the second book of the Keys to Love series (I haven’t read the first one yet and will be fixing that ASAP!). It playfully explores identity, loss of family and love, and how to regain and hold onto what truly matters most to you. Additionally, with the main characters Cuban roots, the author includes Spanish, Spanglish, and clever methods for explaining what it all means if you’re someone who doesn’t know a lick of Spanish (like myself).
This was a beautiful story. I couldn’t put it down.
