Just not interested in the romance genre in general, so I was pretty sure this wouldn't be for me. Still I read a bit, and yeah the writing is really doing nothing for me either. None of the Spanish is italicized = good; it's a sign that it's written by someone who is actually Latinx. Always love to see more #ownvoices books.
