The cover art is cute and is in keeping with the first novel. Because Anchored Hearts is a companion novel to Island Affair, there are elements of the novel that are similar, namely the setting, as well as the blending of language and cultural elements. Simply put, the novel is literally a beach read, with characters who have unresolved issues. Although I do not usually like romance novels, this one does have a fair amount of charm. Anchored Hearts is one I would get out of the library and read for relaxation.
