I thought that Anatomy of a Scandal was absolutely atrocious. The writing was tedious and waaay too descriptive for my liking. I thought the story was also waaay too predictable, which made it hard for me to stay invested in the story. I also thought the characters were incredible cliche and could have benefitted from a lot more development. (Surprising, since there was way too much description and buildup, but that’s how I felt about them all)
I had heard such great things about Anatomy of a Scandal, but after slogging through it and forcing myself to finish, I really can’t understand why there was so much hype about this book. I may try another book by this author, but my expectations for it are very low.
