This book was interesting, a bit on the longer side and at one point I thought it seemed like the end, but then it kept going. So then I was confused because I didn't know where it could even go from there. It did come back to the main story and connect everything together, but I thought that it was kind of weird the way it did that. The story definitely lost some tension because of it.

Some parts were more fast paced than others and really held my attention, but there were also spots were it seemed to drag. It also was a bit on the political side, not that that is a bad thing, but I really like to read for escapism and enjoyment more than anything else, so sometimes it seems tiresome to me when the book is trying to preach about something. Overall, it was an enjoyable read and I think some would find it right up there alley. I think people who enjoy Lisa Jewel and Shari Lapena would also enjoy this book.
