Honestly, this book wasn’t even on my radar. The only reason I even bothered to is I just it up was because one of my favorite reviewers enjoyed it and compared it to one of my favorite television shows “How To Get Away With Murder.” I’m so very, very glad I did.
Reading this book was like a rollercoaster. I happened to read this entire thing in one day unexpectedly before Brett Kavanaugh was accused of attempting to sexually assault a woman in high school, and it was so uncanny. I felt angry reading this book, but it was also so powerful. The courtroom scenes were absolutely riveting. The writing in this book was polished and stunning. The characters, especially the women, were fully formed and felt so real. The ending was spectacular. This book was truly incredible. I can’t wait for Fuller’s next book.
