The first couple paragraphs start off choppy but then it quickly forms a great beginning to what could be a thrilling ride. At first glance, James seems like the consummate family man and Sophie a politician's wife, but not necessarily typical as she works outside the home. Then James comes home late and confesses to an affair and then, then, it just leaves me hanging! What is the rest of his story? What did he do besides the predictable "sleeping with my assistant"? I am hoping the rest is not predictable and am very intrigued.
