I really thought I would enjoy this book, the description was very interesting and the cover is absolutely gorgeous. I usually don't go for books set in the past like this but it sounded so interesting I thought I would give it a try.
First off the main character just felt like he had no personality what-so-ever and really disappointed me as I was reading.
The whole story just didnt do it for me like I hoped it would.
I enjoyed some of the writing and some parts of the books drew me in but they were surrounded by parts that made me loose interest completely.
Sadly this book just didnt live up to my expectations but I am sure that someone else might absolutely love it and get a lot of joy from reading it.
