My first impression of this book came from the cover. It really didn't do much for me, unfortunately. I suppose it fits the "feel" of the book itself, but it didn't catch my eye immediately.
Author Gary Dickson does have a beautiful writing style. The words flow nicely, but the book... just did not do much for me. I really dislike leaving negative reviews, but I don't have many positive things to say about this book.
The descripion/blurb of the book did sound pretty interesting, and based on that, I had hopes I'd enjoy this book. The main character was ...... boring to put it nicely. His personality was bland...
Based on this book alone, I will not be reading any other books by this author.
