I was immediately drawn into the nostalgic world of this past. My present completely fell away. I like that the narrator is the male character Scott, the young suitor. It gives an extra sultry mystery to the Romance yet to come.There's one line that seemed to characterize the journey ahead "his patience depended on the prize." That said, Scott is way more patient than I! I can't wait to get deeper into this story. I'm enjoying that it's not solely a story of infatuation but one of travels, experiences and adventure. Scott is such a likable charismatic character, it's easy to be entertained by him and enjoy every minute of his travels, relationships and overall story. I'm sad for the First Look at this novel to have ended!
