I enjoyed this excerpt! I have read very few books based during this time and certainly none that focus on the life of luxury. I was impressed with the amount of detail the author used to draw the reader into the first class dining hall. I don’t particularly care for Scott at the moment but I’m hoping he experiences some character growth that will change my mind as the novel progresses.
