I’m not really a fan of historical romance and have a difficult time getting into these type of books. That being said, I was really drawn to the stunning cover of this book so I decided to give it a try. I enjoyed reading the excerpt and liked the author’s vivid writing style, but nothing so far is really making me extremely excited to continue reading the book. It is interesting so I may try to pick this up again (if I win) and see if I end up liking it more after a few more chapters.
