Historical Fiction/Romance - One of my many weaknesses

Over the past few years, as I've really started exploring lots of different genres, I've found that I have an extreme weakness for books that are set in the 1920s-70s. Any book I find that's set during those roundabout times, I'm a sucker for. I love everything about it. And this just seems like a book I'm going to love. The idea of an affair that's between people from two different lifestyles, places and cultures, trying to be happy when so many people/circumstances want to keep them apart sounds so intriguing. Sign me up!
