I was so excited to get my hands on this book! One of my favorite reads last year was Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen's The Wife Between Us. These two really make an amazing writing team, so I knew I would have to read their next book once it came out. And I must say it was another very exciting read!
When Jessica Farris sneaks into Dr. Shield's psychology study, she thinks all she’ll have to do is answer some questions, collect her money, and leave.
But once Jess proves to be just the kind of subject Dr. Shields is looking for, the questions get more intense, the sessions turn in outings where Jess is told what to wear and how to act... she begins to wonder just what Dr. Shields is up to.
It took my a little bit to get into the story, but once I did I really enjoyed it! The characters were well developed and the plot was exciting and had quite a few interesting twists.
Definitely worth checking out!
