This was an intriguing twisty psychological thriller. Make up artist Jessica finds the opportunity to sneak into a research study on ethics and get a much needed 500 dollars. Jessica is intrigued by the questions and the testers Dr. Shields. Jessica is told she’s been selected to be a part of a continued study but as Jessica gets deeper into Dr. Shields’ research she feels like there is more to the study than she knows. This was an engrossing story that I devoured with twists small and late that kept me hooked. The characters were compelling i their own flawed ways. I loved the twist of being a therapist studying morality while breaking numerous ethical standard for therapists. A great read, highly recommend!
